Annual Ball 2019: A Night to Unite

News

We are delighted that our Annual Ball, A Night to Unite, was an outstanding success! With your generous support we approximately raised £800,000 (with potential Gift Aid).

Thanks to your immense generosity we are able to keep working towards supporting cutting edge research and making progress that saves more lives.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our special appreciation to RJ O’Brien for their sponsorship of the ball, to Eduardo Marti, Cesar Martinez, Stacey Ciauri and Ximo Peris for donating their creative expertise to produce the wonderful videos and slides, and to our TrusteesBall Committeedonors and volunteers for their time, energy, enthusiasm and dedication. Their combined generosity and hard work allowed us to create a truly spectacular event, whilst ensuring that costs were kept to an absolute minimum.

Our heartfelt thanks go to Professor Paul Workman and Dr. Matt Clarke from the ICR for their enlightening speeches on the necessity and importance of collaboration – the future for cancer treatment depends on this. Thanks also to Christopher and Clare Normand for sharing their personal story with all of us.

Through your collective dedication, we have accomplished so much, but we must continue to fight until, together, we defeat cancer. United we are strong. United we will beat cancer.

A huge thank you. THIS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT.
