Celebrate the amazing achievements of Captain Tom and fundraise for CRIS!

We’re inviting you, your family and friends to take part in Captain Tom 100 from Friday 30 April to Bank Holiday Monday 3 May 2021 to celebrate Captain Sir Tom Moore’s amazing achievements and raise vital funds for CRIS.

Friday 30 April would have been Captain Sir Tom’s 101st birthday and is the one-year anniversary of the conclusion of his fundraising walk that raised an incredible £38.9 million.

Now it’s your turn to build on Captain Tom’s legacy.

Sign up at CaptainTom100.com to participate in the Captain Tom 100 challenge in support of CRIS!

CRIS has had its 10th Birthday this year so let’s have 10 times the impact with our 100 challenges!

By signing up, you will raise vital funds that will ensure that our cancer research projects continue to receive the funding they need.

Join our team!

This campaign is for all ages and abilities. It’s so simple. All you need to do is dream up your Captain Tom 100 – an activity of your choice based around the number 100 – and do it anytime and anywhere over Captain Tom’s birthday weekend, starting on Friday 30 April through to Bank Holiday Monday 3 May 2021.

That could be walking 100 steps or running 100 metres, scoring 100 goals, baking 100 cakes, climbing 100 stairs, hopping 100 laps of the garden, building 100 sandcastles, writing a 100-word poem, flipping 100 pancakes – anything at all. It’s your chance to do it your way!

Or, if you prefer, you can just make a donation instead of taking part in a challenge.

The Covid-19 pandemic continues to have a catastrophic effect on charities and reports suggest that medical research charities seem to have lost more than 40% of income.

And you can spread the goodwill by nominating others!

Get your family and friends involved by nominating them to do your challenge or to come up with their own! You will raise more vital funds while staying connected and having fun.

Don’t forget to share your 100 on social media using hashtags #CaptainTom100 and #criscanceruk
